JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto delivered strategic directives to the Indonesian National Police (Polri), emphasizing the importance of spirit, professionalism, and service to the community.
“We expect the police to be more motivated, more professional, more disciplined, and more dedicated to the nation and the people,” President Prabowo stated during a press briefing after attending the opening of the Regional Police Chief Assembly (Kasatwil) for 2024 at the Police Academy (Akpol) in Semarang City on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
The President highlighted the pivotal role of Polri as the frontline in maintaining public security and order, particularly amidst increasingly complex global and domestic challenges.
The assembly is an annual event that brings together regional police leaders to strategize on security, evaluate performance, and strengthen synergy in public service. President Prabowo’s presence underscored his support for Polri’s transformation into a modern, resilient, and trusted institution.
